Mr. Harry Falber

Biographical information

Harry Falber is a global consultant in growth and defense strategies, turnarounds, start-ups, brand and IP licensing, business development, marketing, sales, compliance, advertising management, and creative development. He serves as an advisor to Weston, CT’s Lachat Town Farm, a member of the Weston League of Women Voters Steering Committee, and served as elected Commissioner of Weston Planning & Zoning, and a board member of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce.

His career includes positions as an interim international country and regional manager working throughout Asia, the EU, Eastern Europe, and the Americas.

He’s developed successful strategies, implementing them for both large and small companies including as president of Hallmark Cards’ e-commerce flower & gift business, vice president of Smith & Wesson, Nabisco, Gerber Infant & Baby (Novartis), CP Kelco, Reynolds Consumer Products, Alcoa, Nat Sherman Tobacconists, Martha’s Flowers, 1800Flowers.com, PC Flowers & Gifts, Polaroid Corporation, US Green Building Council, and Treehouse Foods.

His career began in advertising where he worked for agencies considered part of the Madison Avenue creative revolution. In 1975, he was recruited to become advertising manager at Polaroid under Dr. Edwin Land and after seven years, following the retirement of Dr. Land, he left to become Director of Marketing for Nabisco’s imported beer division. He later launched and ran a casual-dining restaurant and catering business in Stamford, CT & Hoboken, NJ.

Harry lives and works in Weston, CT. His wife is Weston’s intermediate school principal. His stepdaughter is a software engineer and manager at Bitly in Denver. His son launched a frozen food start-up in Denver; Rooster & Lark, and is currently a Customer Collaboration Manager at Danone North America.
