Biographical information
Attorney Goldsby is a skilled attorney passionate about diversity and spreading the VALUE Vision! Her legal experience has focused on litigation and education law. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut State and Federal Court. Attorney Goldsby received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.Outside of her law practice, Attorney Goldsby is also the Founder of Black Esquire LLC and is known as The VALUE Coach. Through Black Esquire®, she is a coach for the attorney journey and on a mission to increase the Black lawyer population in the U.S.
Aigné saw a need for women and students of color to learn how to effectively use their VALUE (VOICE to ADVOCATE so others can LEARN and UNDERSTAND their EXCELLENCE). She now uses her voice as a speaker and coach to spread the important message of having a vision for your value, so it is never determined by others.
Aigné is also active in the state and her community. She is a member of Grace Worship Center Church in Hartford. She also ran for Mayor of Cromwell, CT in 2021 and is a past President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ACLU of Connecticut, and is a Commissioner for the Freedom of Information Commission.
Attorney Goldsby has also been recognized as a New Leader in the Law in 2018 by the Connecticut Law Tribune and received the Graduate of the Last Decade Impact Award in 2020 by the UConn Law Alumni Association. More recently she was awarded with the CBA Rising Star Award in 2021, and the MLK Day Holiday Commission Service Award in 2022.
